increasingly value constant visibility. Being visible seems to have become a prerequisite for social existence: we must show ourselves, tell our stories, document ourselves, and continually produce traces of our lives. Yet, in our quest to see everything, what are we actually looking at?
For the artists, looking at and listening to the invisibles become an act of attention, almost of care. Their works focus on what lies on the threshold of perception: the almost erased, what is buried in the earth, in the ages; the infinitely small, the peripheral, the latent, the subterranean, the forgotten.
