The institution’s grand annual event, the Panorama exhibition showcases over 50 new works in the fields of image, sound, and digital creation, created by the artists of Le Fresnoy.

[…] This issue of the invisibles is particularly important today, at a time when our societies
increasingly value constant visibility. Being visible seems to have become a prerequisite for social existence: we must show ourselves, tell our stories, document ourselves, and continually produce traces of our lives. Yet, in our quest to see everything, what are we actually looking at?
For the artists, looking at and listening to the invisibles become an act of attention, almost of care. Their works focus on what lies on the threshold of perception: the almost erased, what is buried in the earth, in the ages; the infinitely small, the peripheral, the latent, the subterranean, the forgotten. EUROPEAN HERITAGE DAYS

Sunday 20 September, 2.00 pm – 6.30 pm

Accompanied by a guide, explore the building, discover the production spaces (film set, photography lab, recording studios, etc.) where the works featured in Panorama 28 were created, and enjoy the view from the rooftops of Le Fresnoy.

Tours depart every 30 minutes
. First tour: 2.00 pm | Last tour: 5.30
pm. Free of charge, subject to booking.

The Panorama 28 exhibition is open free of charge from 2 pm to 7 pm, and a free guided tour of the exhibition is held at 4 pm (no booking required).

ARTISTS’ STUDIO OPEN
DAYS

Sunday 4 October, 3.30 pm > 4.30 pm

Visit the production facilities at Le Fresnoy and discover the process behind the creation of a work for Panorama 28, accompanied by the artist Thomas Ferreira, who will explain the different stages of his work.

EXPO-BRUNCH JAZZ SESSION

Sunday 11 October, 10.00 am – 12.45 pm

12 noon – JAZZ SESSION
Led by Jérémie Ternoy, students from the Tourcoing jazz class present a programme entitled ‘Rotation(s)’. Through the repetition, circulation and transformation of rhythmic and melodic motifs, they explore different forms of sonic movement, leaving plenty of scope for improvisation.

Wednesday 28 October, 3.30 pm

During this fun-filled guided tour, the children will explore the exhibition via a route through the artworks tailored to their age group. The tour is followed by a snack to enjoy with the family.

Sunday 8 November, 2.30 pm – 6.00 pm

A festive afternoon dedicated to children, offering a fun way to explore the exhibition, with numerous workshops led by artists from Le Fresnoy, as well as continuous tours and activities.
