First feature film – Support for first feature films by graduates of Le Fresnoy – National Studio, in partnership with La Maison du Film

La Maison du Film, in partnership with Le Fresnoy – National Studio des arts contemporains, is inviting applications for the ‘Premier Long’ scheme, a personalised support programme aimed at graduates of Le Fresnoy – National Studio for Contemporary Arts who wish to develop their first feature film. Application deadline: 15 December 2025 at 4.00 pm

The selection process is open to graduates of Le Fresnoy – National Studio des arts contemporain Arts who completed their degree less than three years ago. Applicants must not be currently enrolled in any course of study for the duration of the support programme.

The winners will receive:

Three script consultations on different versions of the project
Two business meetings with producers or development specialists
From a mid-project audit to an end-of-programme audit
Strategic support in establishing links with production companies
Access to the Synchro service for film music
Technical support from Le Fresnoy – National Studio des arts contemporain (colour grading or mixing outside periods of student use)

Guillaume Chevillon is a professor at ESSEC, where he holds the Chair in Cultural Industries, Art and Creative Technologies and is Director of Metalab for AI, Data and Society, a transdisciplinary research institute dedicated to the societal challenges of artificial intelligence.
