Maternité is a film about the tiredness of a mother with two small children. The heroine is in a state of physical and emotional exhaustion and lacks the resources to function correctly, and as a result her organism clearly begins to descend into madness.

After graduating from the film schools in Kyiv and Warsaw, she worked for short film festivals in Ukraine as a programmer and self-produced numerous experimental films before coming to France to study at Le Fresnoy - Studio National des Arts Contemporains.
