Charles Cadic is a French filmmaker based in Paris. A graduate of La Cambre in Brussels, the École des beaux-arts in Paris and the Glasgow School of Art, he entered Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains in 2025. Through his films, he explores the themes of disappearance, presence and memory. Following *Cénotaphe* (2022), post-produced at Light Cone and screened at the Kasseler Dokfest and the Image Forum Festival in Tokyo, and *Stahr* (2025), he directed *Watt* (2026), set on an island that is in the process of disappearing from the physical world.
