“Snatches of everyday life are superimposed over neighbours” words. Cuisine Américaine (Open concept kitchen) is a wander through, a plunge into an apartment building, the subsidized living complex where I live. Back and forth, the film unfolds, gains perspective, apprehends the labyrinth, weaving in and out of the building. Penetrating the apartments, probing the architecture while giving access to residents’ intimacy.
