Film

This speculative documentary takes the Netherlands and their looming risk of submersion as its point of departure. Somewhere between tale and prospective fable, it questions how we read a landscape through time — from the distant past to a future perhaps closer than it seems. Narratives in the form of memory, fable, and scientific study shape the way we see a single place: what it once was, what it is, and what it might become.

Clément Erhardy

Clément Erhardy is an artist and filmmaker with a degree from the Beaux-Arts de Paris (DNSEP, 2021). Initially interested in sculpture and installation, he is now developing a hybrid practice combining video, cinema, 3D and documentary. Through immersive devices and critical forms of visual appropriation, he questions the construction of images and the ways in which reality is represented. His work explores the points of friction between art, technology and narrative, drawing in particular on video games, 3D modelling and collective imagination.
