Film

An atmospheric crossing. The characters seek each other out, live together, pass close by one another in an old-fashioned décor from some indeterminate era. They crisscross the space, marking out with their footfall a pathway, possible choices. The bonds between them were formed long ago. There is a journey, an arrival, and a departure. There is the silence, which enwraps the woman in white whose movements connects all those present.
La Chambre is an invitation to slip through the dreamlike gap that erases the border between reality and fantasy to become immersed in a sometimes disturbing softness, in a kind of languor that keeps us awake, suspended, free to fill in the image for ourselves and fit together its fragments.
