The film frames a static shot of the northern facade of the 'Cour Carrée'. The facade passes from darkness to light, the shadows disappearing gradually.

The soundtrack is a voice-over inventory, of all the pieces exposed, on the three floors of the filmed building.

The video lasts two hours, this amounts to the time necessary to list each piece shown in this part of the Louvre.
