Stereo
is made up of 2 photographs of the same facade that is supported by
scaffolding.
The first shot has been taken during the day, the second
in street light.
The
resulting stereoscopic image is a ‘third time’ image made
from the combined light of day and night. Through a mirrors display
the spectator eyes try to focus on both images. Through the empty windows,
the dark blue colour of the sky at night interferes with the white sky
of the day shot. The scaffold structure's colour varies between grey
and ochrer. The architecture showed in stereoscopy becomes uncertain.
Both photographs hung facing each other. The spectator
stands in the center of the space in front of an optical device made
up of 2 mirrors. Each mirror reflects one of the photographs. The spectator
combines visually both images and create a third in stereoscope.
